This new home in North Cornwall at Greenaway Reach, Trebetherick replaces a rundown bungalow that was unable to be adapted to today's requirements. To achieve the considerable increase in accommodation the whole lower storey is dug into the ground in such a way that it retains seaward views but is hidden from the coast path.

Excavations
A substantial amount of rock was removed to accommodate the lower storey. This was used for local landscaping.
